SECURITY IN DEER CREEK
Deer Creek may be accessed through two gates. The main entrance off of McIntosh Road has two entry lanes: one for residents and one for service vehicles and guests. It is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by a professional security service. The gatehouse contains a computer-based entry control and resident information database that the guards use to identify authorized guests and control access.
The entrance off Central Sarasota Expressway is used only by residents and/or emergency vehicles. A bar code reader senses a resident’s bar code decal and opens the gate as required. Security cameras monitor entry and exit.
