He is a true professional, having been in this business for 11 years, 10 of which are working for his own company. He is so good that he does not need to advertise, relying instead on a steady stream of business from word of mouth referrals.

First opinion from another vendor was that we had several leaks in the coil and this vendor recommended that we purchase a new air handler. Matt from N & M Cooling & Heating tested for leaks with leak detector and found no leaks whatsoever and told us airhandler was in working condition.

N&M was able to locate and take delivery on a part in 24 hours, where other major local Air Conditioning/Heating firms, could only hope for that part in 7-10 days. Jeremy installed the part, within hours of its delivery, returning the heat pump to proper operation, providing heat again during 40 degree evenings.

Specializes in fixing broken car windows. Jim Sailor arrived at my house at 8:30, took the door apart and replaced the window regulator. He was finished at 9:10. The cost was just under $200, which I’m sure is less than the dealer would have charged.

Cable - High Speed.

We subscribed to the bundled package - phone, TV, and high speed Internet plus we got the home media DVR and HBO premium service. So far we have been quite impressed with everything. We called and placed an order on Thursday, cable was run above ground from the street to our home on Monday, installation was Tuesday, and the above ground wire was buried on Thursday.Everything occurred as explained to us and on time. We even received two follow up calls to make sure we were happy with the service.
Installation took about 6 hours - but was professional and unobtrusive. The box where the wires enter our home is on the master bedroom side of the house. Normally the battery back up is installed near that box - but the technician suggested that we not locate the back up in the bedroom or even in the closet since it will continuously beep if there is a power outage. This meant that he had to run wires in the attic to the opposite side of the house to the garage where he installed the battery back up. I was impressed that he did not take the easy way out but advised us of a possible noise issue even though it meant extra work for him. Part of the package is a combination modem/router and hook up of up to two computers to the Internet. The desktop computer was no issue, but our technician had difficulty setting up the wireless connection to our laptop. But with one call to the customer service department, they had my laptop up and running within minutes.
I would highly recommend Verizon Fios service - phone is clearer, TV reception is excellent, and Internet is fast, plus we are saving $80-100 per month.

We installed Verizon FiOS in April 07. I would only look into FIOS TV service if one has an HD TV. FiOS takes about 4-6 hours to install and one might need the box to be installed outside of the house. For us, they were able to install it inside the garage. Verizon offers you a lot but I personally don't need all the extras they give you. We have had Comcasst cable, satellite TV and now Verizon. I liked satellite the least. We had Verizon as an Internet carrier so it was cost effective for us to switch to Verizon FiOS.

We subscribed to the "Bundle Package". That is Internet, Cable TV and long distance telephone. It is $99 a month, but of course there are the extra service fees that come with any telephone service. Verizon did a neat job. They called to confirm before they came, came on time, they explained all the systems clearly and answered any questions we had. They did the outside work one day and the inside work the next. The internet is fast and easy to negotiate. The cable TV is great. We have many more channels than we had previously.

I had Verizon FiOS service installed in June 07. I noticed that the phone reception is now much louder and clearer. On the internet, downloading is a little faster than before with DSL. I signed up for a one-year promotion of phone and internet service as a package. The total price is about the same as I was paying previously for phone and DSL service with Verizon. The installation was very professional and it included a router that permits wireless service to a laptop, if I should ever get one. I was told there would be a one-time
installation charge of $19.95, which now seems to be low in view of all the work
that was done. Our total monthly charge is $70.76. This is for a package that includes
Verizon internet service and unlimited local and long distance phone calls.
One peculiarity with FiOS is that it requires house power to operate, even for wired
phones. There is a backip battery in the garage that will maintain power for the
phones for abour 4 hours in case of a power failure.

Carpet Cleaning.

I have used Dave at Greenway for my carpets, area rugs, and tile for several years. He is extremely professional, courteous and reliable. He does an exceptional job and is environmentally friendly as well. I have used him in my home and rentals which typically take a beating. The rugs look like new. He also does upholstery, drapes and hardwood floors, however I have not used these services. Dave will not be as inexpensive as some carpet cleaners but I think this is a case where you truly get what you pay for.

We recently replaced our front door and garage service door. The general manager Scott was very knowledgeable about the products and did a great job in helping us choose the right doors (we wanted hurricane resistant) keeping our budget in mind. The installation team was prompt, courteous, did an excellent job with the installation, and left the area spotless. After the installation we did run into some problems with the door. Scott was very responsive and promptly resolved the issue. We highly recommend Sarasota Glass and Mirror and will be utilizing them in the future as we replace other windows and doors with hurricane resistant products.

Sean did a great job remodeling our kitchen. He is experienced in deconstruct/tear out, electrical, lighting, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, installation of cabinets. He is a master at trim and doors. If he can't do it, he knows someone reasonable and good who can. Sean was reasonable in cost, was on time and considerate about keeping noise and dust to a minimum (and he cleaned up every day).

glass doors, extending the lanai, laying the wood floors, installing the
new appliances, painting, plastering, etc. He is a true craftsman.
Much to his credit, every night before he leaves, he cleans up from the
days' work. I highly recommend him and will be happy to talk to anyone
with questions.

Mano is a “RotorBrush” Certified Specialist & has provided our family with an invaluable service. He has greatly reduced mold, mildew & seasonal pollen from our indoor air. In spite of expensive A/C filters our allergies were severe. After Mano thoroughly cleaned all mildew from the A/C coils in the garage & “Rotor-Brushed” & sanitized all ducts, our indoor air quality has improved dramatically. We no longer wake up with sinus problems & post-nasal drip. Before & after TV camera pictures taken by the “Rotor-Brush” equipment tell the story and dust is almost absent after more than two weeks. We are extremely satisfied & highly recommend Mano for his professional service, attention to detail & attained results.

FINALLY after living in Deer Creek since 2001, I can recommend a great electrician. Victor is not only really skilled, but he is fast, efficient, and does really good work. He charges $75/hour and did a complicated (I know because I usually do my own electrical) wall switch relocation in less than one hour. Of course he is licensed, and if you want details, call me.

I had researched cohort of hurricane/wind and impact resistant windows/doors manufacturers and settled on PGT WinGuard products. Went to SG & M with list of my homes windows and doors that were to be retrofitted (the whole house) with their approximate measurements. Helped by Scott Brigham (owner) who was forthright and informative, addressing all my questions with clarity and respect and at no time did I feel rushed in that process. He got back to me in a timely fashion with a proposal that was detailed, comprehensive, and competitive. Installers could not have been more professional--they worked without stop, other than a lunch break, from the time they arrived to the time they left, hushed discussions among them as they tackled one opening after another. At the end of the day, other than new windows in place, there was no telltale cue of the major deconstruction/construction that had taken place as they cleaned up without a spot missed. Their workmanship was outstanding, and each day they kept us abreast of their progress, the schedule of work for the next visit, and, what truly impressed me, pointed out without prompting any imperfections in a PGT product installed that would require a replacement. Recommend Sarasota Glass & Mirror without hesitation.

If you are experiencing any problems, you just call him and he's back (free of charge) to treat whatever problem you have. We think he's the best - honest, trustworthy.

Through a relative, we contacted Don Raddel regarding our plumbing work. He came highly recommended. Don came immediately and gave us a quote and started work the next week at a good price. He is an independent Master Plumber but works jointly with David Gulsby on re-plumb jobs. David is also a Master Plumber. Last month, my husband and I discovered two leaks in our roof, one in the garage and another in the main bathr oom. Immediately we checked the vendor's list, and we decided to call Gary's Roofing, since this company had many very positive responses from the Deer Creek
residents. The two gentlemen who came to our house the same day that we called, were very professional, very knowledgeable , and very honest. They showed us on their iPad the rotted wood and all the damage that had occurred on our roof. They explained clearly and slowly how they were going to repair the two leaks. They gave us the price, which in our estimation, seemed very fair for all the work that the job entailed . The workers came few days later and labored all day for almost a week , and did a superb job. All were interested in bidding but Brown’s was the only one who could provide documentation that they had both liability and Florida worker’s compensation insurance coverage in force. I utilized O'Hara's Window Service to repair a 3-track, sliding glass door. The middle pane came off the track and in getting wedged, the glass pane separated from the door frame. It was, to me, a precarious situation. I called O'Hara's and they provided same-day service, did a fine job and the price was very reasonable, much less than I expected.
